The portable Honeywell IH25 UHF RFID reader, in combination with a compatible mobile computer (like the Honeywell CT40 XP), provides quick capture. Via radio frequency it captures all data up to 6 m away which is saved on RFID chips, and then transmits it contact-free in real time via Bluetooth 5.0 to the CT40 XP mobile computer. In addition to RFID codes the IH25 also reads 1D and 2D barcodes and confirms a good scan with a hum and visually via four integrated LEDs.
The UHF RFID reader is equipped with a removable 4,000 mAh lithium-ion battery which may be charged via a special home base double charger, together with the mobile computer. It is also robust: the IH25 UHF RFID reader is IP54-certified and impact-resistant from heights up to 1.2 m.
IH25
The robust CT40 XP mobile computer is the perfect partner for the IH25. It is supplied with important security patches and system updates up to 2028 via the Mobility Edge platform and is therefore a secure investment for your customers to make for the future. It features a powerful processor and the new »FlexRange« scanning technology, with which is just as reliably captures barcodes from a few centimetres away as it does from those which are 10 metres away. But the CT40 XP does even more: via its »Device Finder« function it locates misplaced devices, even if the batteries have been empty for longer periods of time.
RFID stands for »Radio Frequency Identification«. Complex data from goods may be saved to an RFID chip. They are read and captured in a contactless manner with an RFID reader, such as the IH25, which then transmits them to a mobile computer.
