Brodit holds secure and longer!

The new Brodit module upgrade cradles for Zebra ET5x tablets with locking and charging module extensions improve the flexibility of your customers in forklift, logistics and vehicle applications.

The tablets of the Zebra ET5x Series are known for their comprehensive equipment options and accessories possibilities. As such, they are adaptable to nearly any requirement and need. For your customers in warehousing and logistics to also benefit – particularly those in vehicles and forklifts – Brodit offers a range of new cradles with locking and charging modules for upgrading or swapping.

Safety first!
All holders have been certified from independent companies for operation in forklift environments. As a result, they compensate for the sometimes uneven floors in large halls and withstand up to ten times G-force. This is a daily occurrence, particularly during loading goods and other logistics applications. For additional safety, optional interlocks and locks prevent unauthorised removal and undocking of the Zebra ET5x tablets.

Make way for performance!
During the conception of the module upgrade cradles, Brodit paid close attention that even when docked, no access to the tablet’s key, camera or scanner is blocked. Also, the 30-pole port not only charges the inserted tablet, but also the connected accessories, saving time and costs, since there is less need for charging cables.

Passive or active: they both make a good impression!
Depending on the need, Brodit offers passive or active holders. The construction of the passive holders allows your customers to swap a replacement battery during operation while the tablet is docked in the charging station. This is a great benefit in areas requiring 24-hour operation or where stable power supply is not guaranteed.

On the other hand, the active holders offer power and USB-A host functionality. This allows barcode scanners, keyboards, sensors and additional accessories to be directly connected to the Zebra ET5x tablets via the holder. With up to 1.5 amperes the USB port also transfers enough energy to power-demanding barcode scanners in the long-range area, plus may be optionally extended with additional USB ports.

Features of the module upgrade cradles:
