Honeywell has developed the two robust Granit XP 1990i/1991i SR/XR scanners specifically for the tasks of staff in logistics centres and the manufacturing industry. Here, high-speed scanning for maximising productivity as part of the daily routine and equipment durability is an absolute must!
We’ll show you five very special features of both Honeywell scanners, which you certainly did not know yet and with which you will score points with your customers!
1. »Robustness«: Did you know … … that the Granit XP 199Xi SR/XR scanners are extremely robust? Both withstand falls from up to 3 m – one of the highest values in the industry! In tumble tests, which usually simulate real-life conditions much better than a drop test, the new Granit scanners withstand 7,000 impacts from a height of 1 meter – that’s 40% more than competitor products. Both scanners are IP65/IP67-certified and therefore really ideal for usage in demanding environments.
2. »Scan window«: Did you know … … that with the new Granit XP scanners the scan window is hardly susceptible to damage? It’s true that with many scanners, a defect of the scan window is often the reason for a repair. For the Granit XP 199Xi SR/XR though, Honeywell has designed the hardened glass scan window to be very robust and very deeply recessed into the scanner, making it less vulnerable and better protected in the hectic day-to-day.

3. »Operating temperature«: Did you know … … that the Granit XP 199Xi SR/XR scanners are fully functional at room temperature (20° C), in cold rooms (down to -30° C) and under extreme heat (up to +50° C)? Therefore, they are suited for a very wide range of applications.
4. »Reading distance«: Did you know … … that the new Granit XP scanners show consistently high performance in both standard (SR) and extended range (XR) applications? Thanks to a high-resolution sensor and improved decoding algorithms, both quickly and reliably capture labels that are dirty, damaged or otherwise difficult to read – saving your customers’ staff time and helping them work more efficiently. The XR models are equipped with the new FlexRange technology. They read barcodes from 10 meters just as well as from 1.5 meters distance, with no compromise on near field scanning performance.
5. »Battery«: Did you know … … that Honeywell has equipped the Granit XP 199Xi SR/XR scanners with LED indicators for recharging and battery level status? Your customers’ staff will be able to see when the battery needs to be charged before it is empty.
Both Honeywell scanners benefit from access to the »Operational Intelligence« platform. It enables remote updates, timely maintenance, as well as proactive management of the battery’s condition, to get the most out of the Granit for all tasks.
