Xenon Performance 1950g/1950h
The new Honeywell area imagers Xenon Performance (XP) 1950g and 1950h are great readers, and are not picky – they reliably capture poorly printed and damaged 1D/2D barcodes, PDF, postal Digimarc, OCR and DOT codes, even from smartphone displays. This simplifies tasks, improves performance and, above all, gives staff and customers in retail, transportation and logistics, as well as personnel and patients in the healthcare sector, more time.

Honeywell knows which particular features an area imager needs to be successful. That’s why Honeywell designed the corded Xenon Performance (XP) 1950g and 1950h to sit wonderfully in your hand, yet be highly robust and reliable. Both area imagers withstand up to 50 falls onto concrete from 1.8 m, scan barcodes reliably (even in 95% humidity) and feature IP41 certification. This keeps them protected against foreign particles and dripping water.
The Xenon Performance (XP) area imagers are quickly integrated. They feature the following interfaces: USB, keyboard wedge, RS232 and RS485 support for TGCS (IBM) 46XX.
1950h: Honeywell has adapted the Xenon XP 1950h to meet the needs and work environment in the healthcare sector. Because above all, the focus is: the well-being of the patients. Products used in this area must be particularly reliable and robust. Thus, the white Xenon XP 1950h has an easy-to-clean and disinfectant-resistant plastic housing. Frequent contact with disinfectants common in healthcare do not affect it. In addition, the scanner may be better adapted to different requirements with various modes – such as a do-not-disturb-patient mode, a vibration mode or a scan lamp.
