This innovative imager is equipped with state-of-the-art scanning technology – including the patented Datalogic »Green Spot«. It captures hard-to-read, damaged, and short printed 1D and 2D barcodes just as reliably and quickly as digital barcodes from smartphones or tablets. Optionally, it also reads Digimarc barcodes. Really big in business The integrated motion sensor immediately recognizes when an object is within the scanning radius of the Magellan 1500i and automatically increases the lighting intensity. At the same time it reduces reflections and flickering. This allows the Magellan to capture the item in an instant, saving your customers time and increasing POS productivity.
Thanks to Motionix technology, the Magellan may be used in both presentation and handheld modes. It notices when it is picked up and activates its LEDs for capturing in handheld mode. When it is put down again, it automatically switches back to presentation mode. To ensure maximum user certainty, the Magellan 1500i signals successfully completed scans both acoustically and via a status LED on the head.
Scans on small feet The Magellan is available in black and white so that it makes an excellent impression everywhere in retail and shipping branch offices, but also in pharmacies and elegant boutiques. In order to adapt ideally to the respective working environment, the Magellan’s footprint is only 6 x 7.5 x 10.6 cm – that’s palm size and wonderful for the POS with minimal space. The optionally available magnetic stand ensures a secure hold.
