Ideal for the small POS
The Zebra DS9300 Series comprises space-saving presentation imagers with a small footprint of 8.6 cm by 8.3 cm, that are perfect for the checkout area in hospitality and retail, as well as for trendy boutiques or the hotel industry! Via Plug & Play they are ready for use as quick as an owl – and may be connected almost anywhere, thanks to a 45° cable connector. Especially handy for retailers: the DS9300 Series optionally also deactivates EAS theft-prevention labels via scan — simply hold the label near to the imagers, and that’s it! The DS9300 Series features a high-resolution megapixel sensor and a particularly powerful 800 MHz microprocessor with Zebra’s exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology.
Not so odd when scanning
The imagers also capture very small 1D and 2D barcodes with a high density, as well as OCR, DotCode and optionally Digimarcs – and convert A6-sized documents into images. The nimble presentation scanners confirm good scans with a beep that is adjustable in volume, frequency and duration, as well as a light green, eye-friendly LED illumination.
Resilient fellows
The DS9300 Series is ready to work the whole day and withstands a lot, too: the imagers are impact-resistant from 1.5 m and feature IP52 certification — thanks to an optomechanical design, the DS9300 Series bases are also protected against splash water. The scanners may be attached to the counter or wall with the optional slipper-style multi-mount accessory without restricting the tilt range from 15° to 45° — ideal for price checks or pick-and-pack operations. Another benefit of the DS9300 Series: The scanners are backward compatible with the cables and power supplies of the DS9208 – saving your customers money.
