Kiosk systems freak out!

What if self-service machines, ticket counters, info points, turnstiles, reverse vending machines and the like could choose their own integrated scan module? They would most likely opt for the Gryphon GFx4500 series – the compact scan modules fit into almost any housing, are very rugged and durable and reliably capture any barcode in a matter of seconds.

  • Compact scan modules for 1D, 2D, postal, stacked and Digimarc barcodes
  • Two models: GFS4500 (with housing) and GFE4500 (without housing)
  • Three variants: with RS-232, USB/RS-232 or USB
  • Intuitive Blue Dot LED aimer and triple read confirmation (Green Spot, LED, beeper)
  • IP54, impact-resistant from 1.5 m, disinfectant-resistant housing, UV-protected and scratch-resistant output window

  • Self-service kiosks/intelligent lockers
  • Infopoints/self-check-ins at airlines
  • Turnstiles/automatic barriers
  • Access control/recycling reverse vending machines
  • Retail: POS checkout assist scanners/price checkers
  • Healthcare: Chemical and biomedical analysis machines

The two compact scan modules of the Gryphon GFx4500 series are everyone’s favourite. They have been designed to meet the different requirements of your customers so that they can be integrated quickly and easily. For medical analysers or access control systems, the GFE4500 model was developed without a housing – offering your customers even more flexibility.

Both scan modules have an advanced megapixel sensor with distinctive red or white illumination technology, adjustable brightness and wide-angle optics with improved motion tolerance. They quickly and reliably capture 1D/2D barcodes, postal, stacked and Digimarc barcodes on tickets, boarding and loyalty cards as well as coupons on mobile phone displays.

The Gryphon GFx4500 series is designed for a long service life. The scan modules have a scratch-resistant, UV-resistant viewing window and are IP54-certified. They can withstand drops, shocks, vibrations and both very high and very low temperatures. The RS-232 and USB/RS-232 models also have an integrated cable, while the USB models are equipped with a locking clip that prevents the USB cable from coming loose or disconnecting.
