Unbelievably fast

The Evolis Primacy 2 keeps pace with its predecessor and prints up to 280 single-sided or 170 double-sided cards per hour. The Primacy 2 has been designed so that when the print head part of the printer is opened the print head automatically is protected, to extend its life cycle.

New innovative features

The card printer is available with an LED panel or an LED touch screen with a QR code display. It is equipped with ribbons with an RFID tag and double card protection, as well as UV implementation for printing watermarks. Plus, it has a practical rewrite function with which your customers reprint cards: they print, erase the previous print and reprint – up to 500 times! This sustainable, practical feature is particularly relevant for printing cards and IDs whose use is limited in time or which need to be updated regularly.

Maximum security for printed cards

When your customers personalize a card with personal data, this information is sent to the printer. Upon completion of the printed card, the information remains readable on the ribbon. With the new Primacy 2 your customers can be sure that no data remains accessible, neither digitally nor physically on the ribbon. Two technologies ensure this: The patented Kineclipse option (reprint feature) makes used ribbons unreadable – a big advantage for protecting your customers’ data. Additionally, the confidential data that is sent to the printer for the print job is deleted from the memory.
