The new Star mC-Label3 and TSP100IV SK linerless label printers offer your retail and hospitality customers the ability to integrate a labelling solution with the same SDK and connectivity as Star’s POS printers. They are particularly suitable for pick-up and delivery services for labelling food packaging, bags and other delivery packaging with special customer requests, allergy information and much more.
Linerless labels are more cost-effective and environmentally friendlier than conventional labels, as no backing paper is used and therefore no waste is produced during printing. In addition, the labels are printed with variable instead of fixed lengths. This means that there is no paper waste – even with smaller orders.
Star offers a free cloud-based app for label design. This allows labels to be designed, saved and printed using existing or customised templates. The new mC-Label3 and TSP100IV SK printers are compatible with Star CloudPRNT.
With the mC-Label3, your customers create a variety of linerless and linered labels, including repositionable ReStick, high-adhesion, permanent, semi-permanent, die cut and continuous. It is equipped with SteadyLAN and TetherLAN technologies for ultimate connectivity for tablets and mobile devices, and offers a one-touch function for stored label designs.
The TSP100IV SK is part of the popular TSP100 series and produces linerless labels with low adhesive strength. These can be easily removed and repositioned without leaving any residue – ideal for food and product packaging as well as take-away applications. The compact design allows the printer to be mounted horizontally, vertically or on the wall.
