Print Portal is a web-based service for device- and location-independent access to label printing, revision control and workflow status management. With the BarTender 2022 Preview 1 version, your customers get many new and improved Print Portal features. They have advanced access to remote printing and browse, select and print labels from any device via a web browser. Your customers define their own file images and colours, making documents and labels easier to find. With Print Portal, more detailed user permissions may be created with enhanced, more detailed administrator controls. New property pages also allow you to search and set security and advanced permissions.
The Preview 1 version now offers users direct access to label printing with the improved Windows-based BarTender companion application, Print Station. With one click, your customers now find their documents and open and print them through a new, intuitive and more modern user interface.
SAP HANA is a relational database platform from SAP. It is currently the only supported database for SAP S/ HANA Business Suite and an option for SAP Business One. The BarTender 2022 Preview 1 version has a new SAP HANA database connector. This allows your customers to connect labelling directly to their data stored in SAP HANA. They have access to SAP HANA in the cloud or via on-premises instances. The Preview 1 version supports SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 03 and later versions.
