In addition, they are 27 grams lighter than TC72/TC77 – and that comes along with a much larger and brighter display. Their 6″ FHD+ display is the largest in this product class! All content is easy to read, both indoors and outdoors. And: it may be operated in wet conditions and with gloves. They are also extremely robust: TC73 and TC78 have IP65/IP68 certification and are impact-resistant from a height of 3.05 metres!
Being fast is good, being faster is better: Zebra has equipped both the TC73 and TC78 mobile computers with a blazingly fast Qualcomm 6490 processor for any task in their competitive class, no matter how demanding. It is 90 % faster than the processor of TC72/TC77. This gives them enormous stamina. In addition, both mobile computers are available with different batteries: the standard and extended capacity batteries as well as the wireless rechargeable batteries (TC78 only) and the BLE batteries provide power for more than one shift and allow for intelligent management via the Zebra DNA tools. They are easily charged anywhere via standard USB-C.
The two mobile computers are real professionals when it comes to recognising and capturing barcodes. They are available with two different scanning modules that capture almost any barcode under almost any conditions and lighting conditions: The SE4770 1D/2D scanning module is ideal for standard scanning data capture. The SE55 1D/2D scanning module Advanced Range with IntelliFocus technology is the right choice for capturing barcodes in the hand and up to 12.2 m away.
TC73 and TC78 have enormous capacities with 8 GB RAM / 128 GB flash memory and a 2 TB microSD slot. This means your customers use them to run all the apps they need at the same time. In addition, TC73 & TC78 convince with 5G and Wi-Fi 6E, which is three times faster and supports four times the number of devices – with lower power consumption at the same time. Their Bluetooth 5.2 consumes less power and provides better audio quality.

You can not only see but also hear what the TC73 and TC78 are capable of: Three noise-cancelling microphones to suppress background noise, two speakers for high volume, a high-quality speakerphone and HD Voice with support for Super Wideband (SWB), Wideband (WB) and Fullband (FB) guarantee exceptionally clear audio quality. In addition, the 16 MP colour camera on the back offers the highest resolution in this product class.
