Honeywell has equipped the ScanPal EDA71 with a variety of new and easy-to-use features, designed for the versatility of your retail, transportation, and logistics customers: the tablet PC has more storage and memory options, an Android 8.0 operating system, a new processor, a 13 megapixel camera and WLAN 802.11 ac. The tablet computer is also future-oriented: its Android 8 operating system supports Android up to versions P and Q.

The ScanPal EDA71 convinces with powerful performance: its robust 7″ HD display is also readable outdoors in sunlight. It features a 13 megapixel camera with auto-focus and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM450 8-core processor with 1.8 GHz and a choice of 2 GB/4 GB RAM and 32 GB/64 GB Flash memory. Via microSD you may expand the memory by another 32 GB SDHC or 128 GB SDXC. An integrated scanner provides for 1D and 2D barcode capture. The best possible connection is provided by WWAN, WLAN 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.

There is always a lot to do. Therefore, the ScanPal EDA71 has a powerful 4,000 mAh battery – and for those who are still far from being finished after a shift, there is an option to use an even more powerful 8,850 mAh battery.

Very robust
The ScanPal EDA71 withstands multiple falls from 1.2 meters onto concrete. It is fully protected against dust and splash water according to its IP64 certification and is MIL-STD-810G-tested for choc resistance.

How fitting
The ScanPal EDA71 is backwards compatible – so it is combinable with all existing accessories of its predecessor.

Well thought-out accessories
Honeywell developed a rotating wrist strap for the ScanPal EDA71. This also allows barcodes to be scanned when the tablet is held with one hand while looking at the screen at the same time. And the optionally available carrying case with shoulder strap makes wearing the tablet not only comfortable – it is also designed so that the ScanPal EDA71 is fully useable when it is in it.
