The HC20/HC50 mobile computers are 20% larger and 10% thinner than their predecessors. A large, bright feedback LED confirms scans – for example, from patient wristbands coming out of a ZD510-HC. For the demands of healthcare, the HC20/HC50 mobile computers have been equipped with a sealed battery compartment and a disinfectant-resistant medical-grade plastic housing – it can be cleaned with almost all disinfectants.
The contoured surface on the sides and back of the HC20/HC50 housing reduces pressure points and, with shock absorbers at the bottom, provides a secure and comfortable grip. In addition, it is ideally balanced from top to bottom, which prevents wrist fatigue.
For vital, rapid communication in healthcare, HC20/HC50 are equipped with a red alarm button. They have three built-in microphones and support Bluetooth headsets. Both haveWi-Fi 6 and a rear camera, the HC50 has Wi-Fi 6E and a front camera for video calls.
