The scanning area and depth of field are improved up to 60% by the engine. Despite the enormous increase in scanning performance the new engine is very compact and is also suitable for small devices.

The new scan engine also reads DotCodes, which are used for tobacco tracking, and Digimarc barcodes. After each scan your customers receive a good scan confirmation via Datalogic’s patented »Green Spot« technology.
