We interviewed the Zebra ZT231 and ZT111. The two are the new stars in the label printer sky and convince with clever functions and great performance at a very reasonable price!

Our first impression of the ZT231 and ZT111: They are full of energy and really likeable! Very friendly to deal with, versatile and really down-to-earth. But read for yourself:

JT: Hello, darling ZT231 and ZT111, employees in industry, retail, warehousing & logistics and healthcare seem to have been waiting for you! How do you explain your success?

ZT231: It’s simple: People want affordable label printers that give them a great performance show when printing all day long. Continuously. And that’s what we do!

ZT111: Yes, exactly. At the same time, we are very fast and economical – people love that! The ZT231 is 100% and I am 66% faster than the previous Zebra ZT220. This saves employees lots of time and boosts business performance!

JT: What are your main features? ZT231?

ZT231: I have an easy-to-use 4.3″ colour display and 3 colour LEDS that show everyone the most important info about me. I speak the major printer languages, may be effortlessly integrated and I am backwards compatible with existing accessories. I’m easy to configure and customise via Zebra Print DNA. My dual-hinged cover means I take up less space at the top. My print roller and print head are removable without tools. If you like, I also come with UHF RFID printing and encoding and an applicator.

JT: That sounds really great! ZT111, now we’ve learned a lot about the ZT231. What do you have up your sleeve?

ZT111: I am Zebra’s most economically priced industrial printer ever, and I am operated via three buttons. 5 LEDs show my status. My equipment is nearly identical to that of the ZT231: 256 MB SDRAM and 256 MB flash memory give me plenty of power for my daily, sensational print show, where, by the way, I skilfully use a tear bar, a peeler and a cutter. I also have plenty of interfaces: USB 2.0, serial, Ethernet, BTLE 5.1, USB host. Very practical: via BLE, the ZT231 and I are quickly connected to mobile devices. Optionally, we are also available with a second Ethernet and Wi-Fi 802.11ac + BTLE 4.2.

JT: That sounds brilliant too! Do you have anything you want to say to our readers!
