A continuously used scanner in retail also has to be able to withstand quite a bit of rough handling. The QuickScan 2500 Series is impact-resistant from a height of 1.5 m, so an unintentional bump from the sales counter doesn’t bother the scanners. Thanks to protection class IP52, they are protected from dust in damaging quantities and falling, dripping water.
The requirements at the POS in retail are as different as the customers.
