Since 1965, Ursula Rath GmbH has been manufacturing high-quality products for the protection, cleaning and care of hands for commercial or private use. The labels of the three Ursula Rath GmbH product series »Protection«, »Cleaning« and »Care« are colour-coded for easy identification and differentiation. All products are mixed, filled and packaged at the main location in Senden, in the middle of the Münsterland region. Customer-specific wishes are also taken into account.
The Ursula Rath GmbH only produces its labels internally and acquired an Epson ColorWorks label printer for this purpose. »For us, the ColorWorks is like a Swiss army knife.« explains Rösner. »We have become very flexible with this device, because now we produce exactly the number of labels we need, when we need them. And it’s great quality, too, because the Epson produces an excellent print image as well.«
Since all the protective, cleaning and care products that the company produces are classified as cosmetic preparations by the authorities, certain data must be printed on the labels due to legal regulations. This includes, for example, an expiry date, instructions for use or information on the ingredients. Since cleaning and care products are naturally often found in wet rooms and areas such as bathrooms and washrooms, the prints on the labels must not smudge due to contact with water or grease. Thanks to the pigmented inks of the Epson ColorWorks C6500Ae, this is no problem at all. Rösner says: »I can wash the labels under running water and nothing happens to the print.«
